Dr. Kurt E. Friedman
Dr. Friedman is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. After receiving his undergraduate training at the University of Miami, he then attended the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry and the Graduate Basic Science School. This allowed him to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and his Master of Science Degree in Anatomy.
He did his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training at the University of North Carolina and completed his Residency Training at The University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, in 1978. Dr. Friedman is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
He lectures on numerous topics involving complex dental implant surgery, and he has been given permission to operate in many South American countries by their Ministers of Health.
Dr. Friedman is the developer of both the Hex Cylinder and Twist Lock Cylinder dental implant. He has served on the board of advisors of many dental implant manufacturing companies worldwide.
Dr. Friedman is presently acting Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Memorial Hospital West as well as Westside Regional Medical Centers.
