Dr. Batya Goldwaser
Dr. Batya Goldwaser grew up in New Jersey and graduated with honors from Columbia University. She earned her DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and her MD from Harvard Medical School.
She completed a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the top-rated Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was rigorously trained in the full scope of the specialty. While there, she received unique training in the following:
Orthognathic Surgery
Implant Placement
Facial Trauma
Jaw Reconstruction
Nerve Repair
Pathology
Pediatric Surgery
She completed a prestigious research fellowship in minimally invasive maxillofacial surgery and is one of a handful of surgeons with specialized training in the use of minimally invasive endoscopic techniques to treat congenital and acquired facial deformities, salivary gland pathology, and traumatic injuries.
She is currently on staff at Memorial Regional Hospital, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and Westside Regional Medical Center, where she performs more complex surgery.
Before moving to South Florida, she worked in private practice. During this time, she was an associate professor at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York, where she taught general dental, oral surgery, ENT, and plastic surgery residents. She has published multiple papers, as well as textbook chapters, on minimally invasive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and facial trauma.
Dr. Goldwaser is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She's also a member of the following:

When not at work, Dr. Goldwaser enjoys exercising, salsa dancing, and spending time with her husband, Gabe, her daughter Ella, and her son Max.
